Holywell Bay Cornwall
The North Cornish coast welcomes you to Pollymoor. Situated in
Treguth Close, a quiet cul-de-sac, this peaceful semi-detached
holiday bungalow sleeps four people (plus a cot), stands on private
ground and is approximately 2 minutes from Holywell Bay beach.
The property was refurbished in 2007 including exposure of beautiful
redwood deal floorboards throughout, new kitchen and bathroom
and new furniture. There is a front lawn with tarmac driveway
to car port and garage. The rear garden, which is terraced, has
a rotary clothes line, picnic table and chairs and has access
to a National Trust footpath leading to the beach and valley.
Living Areas: The lounge has a TV and DVD player,
large sofa, coffee tables and table light. The newly fitted kitchen
is well equipped with built in electric hob and oven, microwave,
automatic washing machine, electric toaster and kettle, fridge,
steam iron and ironing board, table and chairs.
Bedrooms:
There are two bedrooms, the first has a double bed, double wardrobe,
chest of drawers, two bedside cabinets and bedside lights. The
second has two single beds, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and
bedside lights.
Bathroom: The bathroom is spacious with toilet,
wash handbasin, generous shower enclosure and heated towel rail.
Local Area
Holywell Bay Beach is a 3/4 mile stretch of golden sand, sheltered
by impressive headlands and is the perfect place to relax and
enjoy the tranquil scenery. Pollymoor holiday accommodation is
in Holywell village is just a short walk from the beach, beachside
shops, cafes and eateries.
This beautiful holiday bungalow offers families a safe and enjoyable
beach holiday on one of the most stunning pieces of coastline
in Cornwall.
The kids can play in the shallow, lazy river which is tidal but
safe and sheltered from the sea by a sand-dune. This area was
important due to its secret Holy Well, now just a few regular
holiday makers enjoy this unspoilt place of outstanding natural
beauty.
Holywell
Bay provides plenty of room for surfing, or just playing in the
waves, the beach and its visitors are guarded by beach lifeguards
(from mid-May to the end of September), swimmers have to swim
between the red and yellow flags, while the surfers have a different
area to themselves.
Holywell Village has three
shops, a cafe and two inns serving locally produced food. Nearby is Holywell
Bay Golf Course and Holywell Fun Park which offers pitch and putt, go-karting
and bumper boats to keep the children amused. The headlands form part of the
Cornish Coastal Path and Holywell is an ideal base to explore the magificent
scenery of the North coast of Cornwall.
